Democratic Education Network convened the 8th Annual International Student Conference at the University of Westminster.<\/span> <span id=\"input-sentence~1\">This event brought together students and educators from around the globe to discuss and exchange ideas on various aspects of democratic education.<\/span> <span id=\"input-sentence~2\">This conference gathered students, staff, and partners from different fields to discuss sustainable development, inclusivity, and education.<\/span> <span id=\"input-sentence~3\">The discussions and case studies focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span id=\"input-sentence~4\">Participants took part in student-led presentations, interactive panels, and practical workshops where they shared ideas and experiences.<\/span><span id=\"aidr-input-non-human-chunk\"><\/span> <span id=\"input-sentence~5\">They worked on strategies to help communities and institutions facing urgent global and environmental challenges.<\/span><\/p><p><span id=\"input-sentence~6\">The event strengthened networks across campuses and internationally, empowered student voices, and translated classroom innovations into impactful actions that reach beyond the educational environment.<\/span><\/p><p><span id=\"input-sentence~7\">Student-led research presentations and lightning talks<\/span><\/p><p>SDG-focused workshops and project clinics<\/p><p>Cross-disciplinary panels on equity, climate, and ethical AI in education<\/p><p>Networking sessions connecting students with external partners<\/p><p>Practical
