Engagement with international organisations at DEN goes beyond exposure\u2014it enables students to critically engage with global policy, contribute to debates, and connect their research to real-world challenges.<\/p>

Through these partnerships, DEN transforms international organisations from distant institutions into <\/span>spaces of student learning and contribution<\/b>. By attending events, presenting at conferences, or visiting institutions such as the <\/span>United Nations Headquarters in New York<\/b>, students discover that their voices matter \u2014 and that education is most powerful when it connects to the world beyond the classroom.<\/span><\/p>

At DEN, engaging with <\/span>international organisations<\/b> is a vital part of our mission to connect education with global change. These collaborations give students opportunities to interact with policymakers, practitioners, and experts, linking their studies directly to the <\/span>United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

Why partnerships with international organisations matter:<\/span><\/p>

  1. Student engagement with global issues<\/b> \u2013 Working with organisations such as the <\/span>United Nations, UNESCO, and regional NGOs<\/b> enables students to see how global policies address real-world challenges. This fosters active citizenship and supports <\/span>SDG 16 (Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions)<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>
  2. Collaboration and dialogue<\/b> \u2013 Students engage in debates, simulations, and workshops that build communication and leadership skills while promoting <\/span>SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>
