Our Books

Every year, we edit and publish a book that gathers all the papers presented at the student conference. Us, students, meet to peer-review the papers, edit, and are in contact with the authors to adapt it for the edited volume. Moreover, we organise the papers thematically and they design the cover and the different sections in which the book will be divided.

This allows us to improve or writing and editing skills, as well as to read very interesting pieces before everyone else does! We are able to engage with real-world issues and exchange ideas in a healthy environment, which has proved to be very useful for our academic life and interests in university. The decision-making process is also democratic, we debate and take collective decisions on what papers to include, how to organise them, and how to approach them. This allows us to develop our critical thinking skills and we learn how to work collectively in academia.
