Our Magazines
DEN members edit and publish a hard copy magazine every year, which can also be accessed online. In this magazine, students reflect on their experiences as part of Westminster and DEN. We are encouraged to tackle important and difficult topics like diversity in education, decolonising of curriculum, mental health, engaging with divided worlds…
The magazine is written and edited by students, and for students. We have different sections where students can write about their experiences in university, as well about the challenges and learnings of their journey. We also include photo-essays and travel journals about our educational trips, short articles of the different DEN projects, and we share our opinion on the issues that concern us and inspire us.
The magazine acts as a meeting point for all those things that matter to us! We are able to share our feelings, ideas, demands and concerns. It is a crucial part of DEN, as not only do we develop communication skills useful for our professional futures, but we also get to raise our voice. It is also a place of compassion, understanding and support, where we learn from our shared experiences and we build a collective and collaborative network of solidarity and mutual learning between all students.
